The structures and morphologies of PANI‐GO nanocomposites were characterized by Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, Raman spectra, transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Water‐processable PANI‐GO nanocomposites were prepared by copolymerization of aniline with PPD functionalized GO in the presence of poly(styrene sulfonate) (PSS) dopant in an aqueous medium. In the presence of N,N′‐dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) as dehydrating agent, GO was functionalized by p‐phenylenediamine (PPD) through an amidation reaction. In this paper, a high‐performance organic/inorganic electrochromic material was synthesized by covalent bonding of polyaniline (PANI) and graphene oxide (GO). Two highly stable polyoxometalate‐resorcinarene‐based inorganic–organic hybrid materials 1 and 2 are rationally assembled and feature efficient oxidative desulfurization Moreover, the electrochemical behaviors of the two compounds were discussed as well. Remarkably, the efficient heterogeneous catalytic capability for oxidative desulfurization was studied by suing 1 and 2 as recycled catalysts. Markedly, 1 and 2 exhibit high stability in aqueous solutions with different pH values and in organic solvents. The negative 3− as a counter‐anion balances the positive charge. In both 1 and 2, one Cl− anion bridges two metal cations, and each metal cation is further chelated by four 2‐mercaptopyridine N‐oxide groups of one TMR4A, producing a 3+ dimer (M = Ni or Co).
